Samsung is preparing to launch another interesting handset, the new Samsung GT-M5310 ultra-thin music phone, into the market, featuring "innovative music features". Its main feature that revolves around the music is quite revolutionary (though Sony Ericsson has been doing this for more than a year already); various functions can be controlled via movements. Turning the phone upside down, shaking in various directions etc will bring up various functions.
Samsung M5310 specifications include:
- Built-in movement sensor
- USB 2.0, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm headphone jack
- 109mm × 46mm x 9.9 mm
- 2.5G GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity
- FM Radio
- 20MB of user memory
- 2 inches QVGA 262K color display
- 2 Megapixel camera
- microSD memory card slot
The price for Samsung M3510 is expected to be around 230 Euro. Still, it’s good to see other cellphone vendors getting on board, and dedicated music/gaming phones look like a perfect gadget for us to get used to these new shaking features.
