Didiom has announced that its placeshifting application for iTunes is in beta. The application allows iTunes users to stream music from iTunes on their PC to a mobile phone wirelessly. The software works with both BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices.

The application provides access to a music store that allows tracks to be purchased on a per track basis. The library available via the download service is from a variety of independent music labels. Albums on the service will cost $9.99 for a single download to $12.99 for a dual download.

This new development has opened new exciting and fun way to discover new music and songs while on the go. People are getting tired of waiting for their music to be transferred from their computer to their iPhone or iPod. Not only you can find new music but you can also bid for and find music on the fly as well.
