Samsung $200 Dual-Sim C5212 Unveiled

Samsung recently announced the C5212, its latest Dual Sim handset with almost no compromise in terms of telephony and usability at under $200 price tag. With this latest announcement, the C5212 seems to be Samsung’s most affordable dual sim capable handset.

Phones accommodating two SIM cards are obviously a viable market niche. This is especially true when this device allows both slots operating on the 900/1800MHz bands.

It is destined for certain parts of Asia, Russia and several East European countries. As far as release date is concerned, the C5212 will be available in selected markets by the early of this month.

Samsung UltraTOUCH S8300 Touchscreen Slider Phone

Samsung UltraTOUCH S8300 touchscreen slider phone is one of the several Samsung's mobile phone lineup that will be featured in Mobile World Congress that is scheduled to begin on February 16. This device proves once again that Samsung knows what they’re doing when it comes to slim sliders with some high end features being packed in this little gem. Like any great handset should, the Samsung UltraTOUCH S8300 sports a capable feature-set befitting the company’s "most iconic, high-end phone".

The Samsung S8300 takes over from where the LG KF700 left off and attempts a huge leap forward.

Samsung Acme i8910 is Coming to Mobile World Congress

With Mobile World Congress is just around the corner, Samsung is going to announce a new powerful Smartphone in its mobile phone line up known as the Acme i8910 at this event. According to leaked images and specs, it seems that the Acme i8910 will feature the new touch screen Symbian S60 5th Edition mobile OS since there is no presence of sliding keyboard. The i8910 is also said to come in 8 GB and 16 GB versions, similar to iPhone and very much like Samsung's Symbian S60-powered InnoV8. With a sleek and stylish exterior, it will also come with some other powerful features, which are as listed below.

As far as we know, Samsung is planning to roll out 11 devices and they will be introduced at the Mobile World Congress this month. If Samsung Acme i8910 is announced for real, then it will be one of them. For the time being, it is not known what the release date, operating system or even price tag for the Samsung Acme i8910. Samsung has been noted to be working with Windows Mobile, Android, and Symbian operating systems and this hardware can work with any of them.

Samsung T*Omnia announced in Korea with Better screen and mobile TV included

Previously we just posted the new enhanced Samsung Omnia that will hit the Japanese market soon. Samsung yesterday announced the launch of the Korean version of “Samsung OMNIA” known as T*OMNIA. Samsung T*Omnia will be available in the middle of November, exclusively brought by SK telecom.

How does this version compared with the original Samsung Omnia? This device features few enhancements like 3.3″ WVGA touch screen with 480 × 800 resolution and more importantly equipped with Satellite DMB function which allows Korean users to enjoy Mobile TV. There will be 2 different version of the Samsung T*Omnia smartphone; SCH-M495 with 16GB internal memory and SCH-M490 with 4GB internal memory.

T*OMNIA also comes with a 5 megapixel CMOS camera with image stabilizer and auto-focus (AF), GPS features and Wi-Fi connection. It also offers an enhanced multimedia experience with high speed HSDPA networks. Users will alway be connected to a range of peripherals, thanks to Bluetooth® 2.0 and USB 2.0.

Enhanced Samsung Omnia making its way to the Japenese Market

As we all already know, the Samsung Omnia is one of the mobile phone wonders this year. It is well anticipated and Samsung Omnia proves its worth by seizing a significant amount of market share in European and US market. As it is gaining high momentum, Samsung plans to launch an enchanced version of Samsung Omnia in the Japanese market.

The 930SC Omnia will be launched in association with Japanese Mobile Operator Softbank and it features an optimized 3.3 inches WVGA touchscreen (480 × 800 pixels) instead of 3.2 inches touchscreen with 240×400 pixels. This device is also equipped with a mobile TV receiver that is not available on the original Samsung Omnia. This device will be available in white, black and red colors.

Another Samsung’s Dual Sim Mobile Phone

Dual Sim handset is not common in Europe. In fact, there are only 3 mobile phones that are currently available in Europe - two of those are from Samsung. Today, Samsung have added another Dual Sim handset, the S9502, to its portfolio. It might look like some other cheap plastic mobile phones but surprisingly, the price tag is approximately $1000 and most of the cost is due to the material used to construct it.

The luxury Samsung S9502 is made up of a rhodium-plated body and effectively it will be resistant to many kinds of potential damages. It is learnt that it will be available in Russia first, but, no official details (price, debut date etc) have been confirmed by Samsung.

Anyway here's the Technical specifications go as follows:

8MP Camera Samsung Pixon is Official

The 8 Mega Pixel (MP) handsets seem to be the new standard for most mobile phone makers with LG officially announced the KC-910, its successor to Viewty. This new brand phone features an 8 MP camera with of course, advanced photographic capabilities such as 120 fps video recording, manual focus, digital image stabilizer and blink detection.

Recently Samsung also officially announced their new device namely Samsung Pixon. The Samsung Pixon also features an 8 mega pixel camera with lot of similar features as the LG handset. Here are some of the features

While waiting for both products to be released on the market this October, the question remains whether they could be potentially a threat to the iPhone or the Google HTC G1.

The Samsung Omnia is starting to cause quite a stir across the internet. If the slick promo video on the official website isn't enough to interest you then check the specs. A 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash - yes, a 5 megapixel shooter. Then you've got the fast HSDPA 7.2Mbps connectivity with WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, FM radio with RDS and a whizzy TouchWiz UI from Samsung.

Oh, and did we not mention the 16Gb storage with microSDHC slot, TV output, geo-tagging, business card recognition and content-sharing with fellow Samsung DNLA kit? Eh ? Eh ? Oh, and there's a juicy 1440mAh battery to give you long usage times too.

The 16Gb version should be arriving in stores TODAY - Saturday August 16th. According to our sources you can get it free on the £40 p/m tariff. Sure, Orange have the BlackBerry Bold exclusive, but the Omnia is the handset we're loving at the minute!

Samsung: Messager slider phone launched with QWERTY

Samsung Mobile announced on Friday its Messager R450 horizontal sliding handset can now be purchased via MetroPCS dealers. The phone hides a QWERTY keyboard behind the 2.1-inch display to cater to messaging-focused users. As expected, it has SMS, MMS as well as email and IM messaging capabilities.

While it's not known how much built-in memory the Messager will have, a microSD card slot means users can play to 2GB of audio tracks via the built-in MP3 player. The SCH-R450 also includes a 1.3-megapixel camera while Bluetooth support, voice recognition software and a speakersphone all combine to allow for hands-free operation.

The R450 is available now via the MetroPCS wireless provider, priced at $199.
